In addition to our convenient locations and GTE Financial ATMs throughout West Central Florida, members have access to the ATM CO-OP ATM Network to make deposits or withdrawals. The network is made up of over 30,000 free ATMs throughout the U.S. and Canada.

GTE Financial members have FREE access to almost 30,000 CO-OP ATMs throughout the U.S. and Canada. Use them to withdraw money, make a deposit, and check your balances. When you are using a non-GTE ATM please make sure to select "ATM" as the transaction type.

There are 3 easy ways to find a free ATM nearest you:

  1. Online Locator
    Search online by address, city, state, zip code, distance or credit union name to find a comprehensive listing.

  2. Mobile App
    Use the CO-OP ATM Locator mobile app for iPhone or Android to find the ATM nearest you, or search for ATMs by specific address, city, state or zip code. Downloading the app is free, easy and there’s no registration process.

  3. Text Message
    Locate a Free CO-OP ATM via text message. Simply determine your location or area, then text the address, intersection or zip code to 91989*. You’ll receive a prompt text response with the location of the CO-OP ATM nearest the location you requested.
     

*CO-OP Network ATMs at the number 91989 is a free service but check with your mobile phone provider as standard text messaging rates apply. And don’t worry, you’ll never receive any unsolicited messages by using the number 91989.

With your GTE Financial checking account, you will receive a MasterCard™ debit card which also will serve as your ATM card. Your plastic makes shopping as hassle-free as using a credit card. Traditional ATM cards are also available for our members who choose not to maintain a checking relationship with us.

  • To order your debit card, call Member Care at 813.871.2690 or toll-free at 1.888.871.2690.
  • If your card is lost or stolen, contact us right away at 1-888-918.7793. 
     

Apply

  • If you are a member, you can easily apply for a GTE Financial Checking Account by logging into Online Banking and clicking on ‘Open an Additional Account’ under ‘Accounts’ in the main navigation ribbon.
  • If you are not a member yet, please visit our Join GTE page. GTE will walk you through the simple steps to sign up for a new account. 
  • If you prefer, you can also visit a location or call us at 813.871.2690 or toll-free at 1.888.871.2690 to apply for membership and a checking account.

Traveling?

If you plan to travel outside of your normal spending area, contact our Member Services Call Center at 813.871.2690 ext. 40401 or toll-free at 1.888.871.2690 ext. 40401 prior to your trip, to ensure your card will work properly.

Check Requirements

Remember that not all checks can be deposited through an ATM.

  • We do not accept 3rd party checks in the ATM.
  • If a check is made payable to someone who is not a joint on the account, that check cannot be deposited via the ATM.
  • Also, if a check is payable to DBA (doing business as) and the account is not set-up as a Business Account, we cannot accept the deposit via the ATM.

Cash Availability

  • Want to view the amount of money that is available to you at the ATMs each day? Log on to Online Banking and visit your Profile by clicking on your name in the top left corner. You will find the cash available upon deposit of check and ATM availability under "Cash Availability" in your profile.

For determining the availability of your ATM deposits, every day is a business day except Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays.

 

Change your PIN

Now, you don’t have to visit a Community Financial Center to change your PIN! You can change the PIN for your ATM, credit or debit card over the phone by calling 1.866.985.2273. It's that easy!
