  • You must spend at least $20 for an alert to occur
  • You can set preferences, custom to you – simply re-register to update at any time
  • Receive alerts on purchases when you swipe your card, as well as ATM transactions (Special Note: Only ATM transactions at non-GTE ATMs will alert)
  • With alerts, you may also see a pre-authorization for a larger amount than you've spent, like at a gas station. They typically hold more than the actual charge.

Didn’t get an alert? Here are the top 4 reasons:

  • Did you spend at least $20? Twenty dollars is the minimum threshold to receive an alert. If you are at a restaurant, your total before gratuity must amount to $20 or more
  • Did you use a GTE ATM? Currently, you will only receive alerts for transactions done at non-GTE ATMs.
  • Alerts can take up to 10 minutes from the time of transaction to arrive in your email or in a text message
  • Didn't get the confirmation? After you've completed registration for email and/or text alerts, you should receive a confirmation. If you do not, that may mean SPAM safeguards or security firewalls are prohibiting the alerts from coming through. This may happen if you are using an employer's email or another type of protected account for example. If you have an alternative contact, please try! Alerts will only start once the confirmation has been accepted.

How to Stop:

  • You can opt-out of text alerts at any time! Simply text STOP to 72488.
  • To unsubscribe from email alerts, please re-register within Online Banking.
