Free Text Alerts for Your Credit Card

Enroll in Visa® Alerts today to start receiving transaction alerts for your GTE Visa Credit Card on your mobile phone and by email! Once you are signed up, you can customize and manage your settings so you only get alerts over a certain transaction amount. You can also select what type of purchases for which you receive an alert, such as international charges, gas station or declined transactions.

By enrolling in FREE Visa Alerts you can:

  • Better manage and track your spending
  • Receive early warning of potentially fraudulent activity
  • Enjoy the convenience of mobile and/or email monitoring
  • View a 90-day online history of your alerts and transaction details

Enroll in Visa® Alerts through Online Banking

  1. To begin, log into your account securely through Online Banking.
  2. Look at the top navigation bar under 'Security', then 'Alerts', then click on the 'Credit Card Fraud' link.
  3. At this point, you will be prompted to register if you have not yet registered.  
  4. Once you are viewing your 'Balances', click on the 'Card Number' related to the credit card you would like to receive alerts on.
  5. At the top of the box near the right-hand side, click on the 'Card Services' tab.
  6. The last link in the listing is 'Transaction Alerts' where you will go to enroll and manage your Visa Alerts account.

*Within Online Banking, you can temporarily delete your alerts or permanently opt-out at any time. Once logged in to online banking, visit the ‘Card Services’ tab for your credit card to enroll and manage your Visa Alerts account. If you have multiple credit cards, you can create multiple Visa Alerts accounts, one for each credit card. You may also reply to a text alert with “ALERTS STOP” to discontinue text messages.
