Techs on Tour Reviews
After the Brandon Techs on Tour event, we received this email from Betty:
Good morning Kyle, just wanted to say thank you for your patience on Saturday working on my laptop.........you remember me, I was the last one there. When I got home neither the printer nor the video was working. However I continued to work with it based on the information I got from Rob. He said he worked on the spooling so I deleted every printer and uninstalled Lexmark. I had tried that numerous times before but since it wasn't spooling properly, nothing worked. When I reinstalled it, it started printing which made me very happy. He also suggested that CA might be the reason the video/audio wasn't working so I decided to give it a shot and deleted CA. After I did that the audio and video worked perfectly. I'm not sure if I should try to reinstall CA or go to another type of security program.

This couple had just moved back to the area and decided to open an account with GTE. At the event, we were able to give them one-on-one attention, talking about new, online services that could benefit them, such as Bill Pay. Meeting some of our GTE staff in person during the hectic transition of switching financial institutions, and moving into a new home, was something they really appreciated.
Celia brought in two computers, one of which her "tween" son had used slightly irresponsibly. The technicians were able to remove over 80 viruses from the computer! Her son got to witness first-hand the clean-up that needed to happen to make his computer healthy again. Hopefully, this experience has helped him learn more about the effects of online usage and computer care. Because Techs on Tour events are free to attendees, we were able to save Celia a few hundred dollars in repairs and optimization.
Brandon had just inherited a laptop from a family member and felt Techs on Tour was a great opportunity to get a free check-up. He traveled all the way from Lakeland to attend the Plant City event! He was very pleased with the service he was provided and walked away with a tuned-up computer.
