GTE FINANCIAL SVP AND CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER NAMED 2022 40 UNDER 40 HONOREE

TAMPA, FL October 2022: Local Tampa Bay credit union, GTE Financial, is proud to announce Jennifer Maxfield, Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, has been named a 40 under 40 honoree by both the Tampa Bay Business Journal (TBBJ) and the Business Observer. With over 1,000 nominations this year, Maxfield was chosen among the most competitive pool of honorees to date for both TBBJ and the Business Observer.

As SVP Chief Strategy Officer, Maxfield's responsibilities include strategic planning, enterprise communication, member experience, facilities and corporate real estate, DEI, business continuity, community engagement, financial literacy, grants, student programs, and corporate philanthropy. Maxfield is heavily involved in community outreach and giving back within GTE and as a representative of Junior Achievement, she has personally raised over $12,000 for them in 2022. Jennifer also serves on the Tampa Bay Chamber Board of Directors.

The Tampa Bay Business Journal's 40 Under 40 awards honor 40 young professionals in the Tampa Bay region each year. Similarly, the 40 under 40 Business Observer honors the brightest young professionals from Tampa Bay to Naples. The best candidates demonstrate business success, community involvement, leadership, and influence. Honorees were recognized at respective ceremonies this month.
