Manny Aguilar, SVP and Chief Commercial and Advisory Services Officer, has been with GTE since 2020 and offers more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry. Aguilar’s career began with Regions Bank where he served as a Commercial Banking Executive for 18 years. His tenure has demonstrated proficiency in areas such as talent recruitment and development, commercial lending, strategic market development, and credit analysis.
In his current role, Aguilar is responsible for strategic planning and execution of commercial and credit union service organization initiatives for GTE Financial. Aguilar will lead the credit unions impact regarding Business Services, GTE Investments, GTE Insurance and GTE Title. Aguilar earned his Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) focused on Finance and Financial Management Services from University of Florida.
With a strong passion for giving back to the community, Aguilar has dedicated time to University of South Florida’s mentorship program since 2013 and has volunteered with Junior Achievement since 2012.
