Ruby Jackson – Tampa Bay Black Heritage

"Serving as co-chair of the Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Throughout my tenure, I witnessed firsthand the powerful impact that celebrating Black culture and history has on our community, fostering unity and collaborative partnerships, as well as inspiring future generations. Working alongside passionate volunteers and community leaders, I learned the value of perseverance in creating meaningful events that honor our heritage. This organization has heightened my pride and strengthened my commitment to advancing cultural awareness and inclusivity in Tampa Bay."
